BROWN COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT: May 21, 2019

Brownwood News – Brown County Sheriff’s report released Monday, May 21, 2019. All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records. If charges are dismissed or the accused is found not guilty, people listed here can contact Brownwood News and provide us with documentation. Illegal Dumping – On April 30, 2019, Deputy Hammonds, received a call about an Illegal Dumping at Verde Dr. A report was made.

Illegal Dumping – On May 14, 2019, at approximately 6:45 AM, Deputy Hammonds, received a call of shingles being dumped on the side of the road on County Road 121. A report was made.

Agency Assist Pursuit – On 05/17/2019 Deputy Mason Fabbiani was notified of a vehicle pursuit on US 67 West near the Brown/Coleman County line. The pursuit was in excess of 100 mph and was eastbound toward Bangs. Deputy Fabbiani joined the pursuit as it was passing the 100 block of Hall Street in Bangs. The pursuit continued from Bangs until 200 block of Early Blvd. Early Police units attempted to spike the tires near the 200 block of Early Blvd., but were unsuccessful. The suspect vehicle drove into westbound oncoming traffic then attempted to drive back onto the eastbound side, but struck a curb. The vehicle drove through multiple parking lots, struck a gas line causing a explosion, and came to a stop in the Aaron’s parking lot after striking a Aaron’s delivery truck. JASON BUDNIK, MAGEN VENCKUS, and CRYSTAL FUENTES were transported to BRMC ER, with charges from Winter’s Police Department.

Theft of Property – On Friday, May 17, 2019, at approximately 8:11 AM, Deputy Hammonds, took a report of a stolen lawn mower, which was stolen out of a backyard on CR 215.

Criminal Trespass Warning – On 05/17/2019, Deputy Mason Fabbiani was dispatched to an address on County Road 350. This was in regards to terroristic threat. After speaking with the resident, a Criminal Trespass Warning was issued o the suspect for the residence. A report has been taken.

Information/ Disorderly Conduct – On 5-18-2019, at about 09:59 AM, Deputy Byron Langley, arrived at Cherokee Dr in Brownwood, TX. This was in regards to disorderly conduct. I spoke to the Victim, who stated the Suspect had gotten into a verbal argument with the neighbor, the Witness, and was yelling in the street.

Duty on Striking Fixture –On May 18, 2019, at approximately 3:30 AM, Deputy Andre Smoot, responded to the 7500 block of County Road 105. This was for a possible accident where someone ran through a fence and vehicle was not on scene anymore.  The deputy made contact with complainant and an information report was completed.

Credit Card Abuse – On 05/18/2019, Sgt Joe Thomas, was dispatched to a report of Credit Card Abuse. The complainant advised an unknown person(s) had used his credit card to purchase several items online. Report Made.
