Ms. Philbrick works hard to ensure all her students are successful. From the time she spends in her classroom to how she interacts with students and her fellow teachers, Ms. Philbrick is dedicated to her profession. Her passion and excitement for teaching math also contributes to her success. She is industrious, positive, and invests a lot of time and effort to be an effective teacher.

Brownwood ISD is thankful to have dedicated teachers like Ms. Philbrick who devote their time and energy to go above and beyond for our students.

Ms. Renaee Aleman is our May 2019 Spotlight staff member. Ms. Aleman is a teaching assistant at Woodland Heights Elementary. She graduated from Bangs High School in 1989 and has worked for Brownwood ISD for 21 years.

Ms. Aleman worked as an aide at both Coggin Elementary and Brownwood Middle School before moving to her current position at Woodland Heights Elementary where she has been since 2006. She has worked in Life Skills and General Education classrooms and has also served as a translator and ESL tutor.

Building genuine relationships, Ms. Aleman loves and cares for children and staff. She challenges students to achieve what they thought was impossible. She is known to greet everyone daily with a smile and a warm embrace, and constantly exceeds expectations in her work.

Brownwood ISD is blessed to have staff like Ms. Aleman who continually show outstanding dedication and genuine care for our students.
