Jerry was born February 19, 1933 in Brackettville, Texas to Oliver Marcus and Martha Burton Stidum Jenkins, Sr.   He was raised in Brackettville attending the Brackettville Schools and graduating.  Jerry served his country with the United State Marines.  On September 13, 1996 Jerry married Barbara Ann Adams in Austin, Texas and they celebrated 22 years of marriage.  By profession

Jerry was a Landman working for a Title Company in Austin until his retirement.
