BROWNWOOD POLICE REPORTS: April 1, 2019

Brownwood News – Brownwood Police Department reports released Monday, April 1, 2019. All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records. If charges are dismissed or the accused is found not guilty, people listed here can contact Brownwood News and provide us with documentation. Your name and mug shot then will be removed from this site in 3-5 business days.

On 03-26-19 at 2:28 PM. D.Plate was dispatched 2100 blk Ave B for a dead dog inside a dog cage.

On 03/29/2019 Brownwood PD was flagged down by a Brownwood Resident in regards to a Burglary at a north Brownwood address which resulted in a report being generated.

On Friday March 29, 2019 officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Brady ave for a possible burglary. When officers arrived it was determined that force was used to enter the home and an item was stolen from the home. After the information was gathered a report was made.

On Friday March 29, 2019 officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of 1st street for a burglary. Information was gathered at the scene and a report was generated.

On Friday March 29, 2019 officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Ave E for a report of theft. Information was gathered at the scene and a report was generated.

On March 30, 2019 at approximately 12:09 AM a traffic stop was conducted in the 1100 block of 18th street in Brownwood Texas. Upon further investigation the driver of the vehicle was arrested for driving while intoxicated. The driver refused a blood draw, then a warrant was filed and signed by a judge. The driver was then transported to the Brown County Jail where he was processed and released to the jail staff without incident.

On 3/30/2019 at 2:00 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 3500 Blk. of Golding Rd. in reference to a domestic disturbance. Dustin Thompson was arrested for assault causes bodily injury and reckless damage.

On Saturday March 30, 2019 officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Ave B for a report of theft. It was determined on scene the nature of the call was in regards to burglary of a habitation. Information was gathered and a report was made.

On Saturday, March 30, 2019 at approximately 4:20 PM, an officer was dispatched to the 3200 block Milam Dr. in reference to a reckless driver. The officer arrived on scene and spoke with the subjects on scene. A report has been made.

On Sunday March 31, 2019 officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Riverside Drive for a suspicious vehicle. Once the officers concluded their investigation the occupant of the vehicle was arrested for public intoxication.

On 03-31-19 at 12:58 PM. an officer was dispatched to 2100 blk 4th Street for a dog at large. The dog owner was located & a citation was issued to the owner on the charge pf unrestrained dog and unvaccinated dog.
