Brownwood News – The Brown County Commissioners will meet, at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 1, 2019, in the Brown County Courthouse in Brownwood to discuss a number of items posted on the agenda.

NOTICE OF THE MEETING OF THE COMMISSIONERS COURT OF BROWN COUNTY, TEXAS

Notice is hereby given that the regularly scheduled meeting of the above named Court shall be held at 9:00 a.m. on April 1, 2019, in the COMMISSIONERS’ COURTROOM, at the Brown County Courthouse, 200 South Broadway Street, and shall continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

1. Declare a Quorum and Call Meeting to Order

2. Prayer

3. Citizens Comments

(Any resident of Brown County may speak before the court on a topic specifically identified herein on this agenda. No presentation shall last for a duration beyond five minutes. Any disruptive, abusive, obscene, or disrespectful behavior will be terminated immediately.)

4. Consider approval of minutes of March 25th, 2019.

5. Consideration and Approval of Payment of any bills needed

6. Consideration and Approval of pending Treasurer’s or Auditor’s Reports

7. Consideration of any County Reports.

8. Consideration and Approval of all appropriate action regarding the following:

A. Mr. Joel Kelton, Commissioner Pct. 2 – Consideration and possible approval of action regarding burn ban

B. Vance Hill, Brown County Sheriff – Authorization to accept donations for restoration of the SWAT vehicle;

9. Adjournment
