Brownwood News – On Wednesday, March 27, as early as 7:00 am, the Brownwood District of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will temporarily close FM 2525 (Williams Ranch Road) due to railway crossing repair, weather permitting.

[adrotate group=”8″]

BNSF Railway (BNSF) will repair the tracks themselves, perform ballast work, and replace some cross ties at this crossing.  The work is anticipated to take approximately six hours.

TxDOT will have detour signs in place.  Westbound traffic on FM 2525 will be routed north on CR 269, then west on US 84, then south on FM 2126 which will connect back with FM 2525.  Eastbound traffic will do the reverse:  Travel north on FM 2126, then east on US 84, then south on CR 269 which connects with FM 2525.

TxDOT appreciates the patience of the public while BNSF crews work to complete this repair.
