Brownwood News – The Brown County Commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. on Monday, February 11, 2019, in the Brown County Courthouse in Brownwood to discuss a number of items posted on the agenda.

A. Opening Prayer

B. Reading and Approval of Minutes

C. Recognition of Visitors

D. Matter of New Business to be presented to the Court for its consideration and action as appropriate.

  1. Paul Lilly, County Judge – Consideration and possible approval allowing the County Judge to sign a resolution allowing the Emergency Office Coordinator to apply for a County Fire Marshal License with the Texas Commission on Fire Protection and the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement;
  2. Paul Lilly, County Judge – Consideration and possible approval to reappoint David Olhausen to the Cen-Tex Rural Rail Transportation District for two year term for the years 2019 and 2020;
  3. Gary Worley, Commissioner Pct. 1 & Paul Lilly, County Judge – Consideration and possible approval of TruCore lease at Brown County Juvenile Justice Center and authorization of the County Judge to sign contract with TruCore;
  4. Gary Worley, Commissioner Pct. 1 – Consideration and possible approval of action regulating the use of certain fireworks for the Texas Independence Day fireworks season;
  5. Joel Kelton, Commissioner Pct. 2 – Consideration and possible approval of action regarding bum ban;
  6. Larry Traweek, Commissioner Pct. 4 – Consideration and possible approval of vehicle purchase;
  7. Vance Hill, Brown County Sheriff – Annual Racial Profile Report; also Consideration and possible approval for Sheriff to accept a donation from Richard and Jeanette Hodges;

E. Reports

F. Consideration and Approval of Payment of any bills needed

G. Consideration and Approval of pending Treasurer’s or Auditor’s Reports

H. Consideration of Adjournment or Recess
