BROWN COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT: February 4, 2019

BrownwoodNews – Brown County Sheriff’s report released Monday, February 4, 2019. All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records. If charges are dismissed or the accused is found not guilty, people listed here can contact Brownwood News and provide us with documentation.   • On Saturday, January 26, 2019, at approximately 4:05 P.M., Deputy Scotty Burke, was dispatched to the 1700 block of CR 134, Brownwood, TX. This was in reference to an illegal dumping report and investigation.  Complainant advised someone had dumped a T.V. and some other items in the bar ditch in front of the above address.  The report will follow.
  • On Sunday, January 27, 2019, at approximately 2:58 P.M., Deputy Scotty Burke, was dispatched to the Flagship Inn, HWY 279 in Brownwood, TX. This was in reference to an illegal dumping report and investigation. Complainant advised someone had placed sheetrock, carpet pad, and some house hold trash into their dumpster without permission.  The report will follow.
  • On Monday, January 28, 2019, at approximately10:12 A.M. Deputy Scotty Burke, was dispatched to the intersection of CR 190 and CR 189. This was in reference to an illegal dumping report and investigation. Complainant advised someone had dumped some pipe and fencing materials at the intersection of CR 190 and CR 189.  The report is as follows.
  • On February 01, 2018, Deputy Jayson Bastardo, was dispatched to 1050 W Commerce (Law Enforcement Center) in regards to theft. Upon arrival, Deputy Bastardo met with Chester Chew. Chew said a female stole his cell phone on Sunday, January 27, 2019. A report was taken.
  • On Friday, February 1, 2019, at approximately 12:21 P.M., Deputy Scotty Burke, spoke with the complainant by phone. This was in reference to some items being stolen from her front porch.  The report will follow.
  • On February 1, 2019, at approximately 11:45 P.M., Deputy Toby Mathis and Deputy Rodriguez, were dispatched to HWY 279 in Brownwood, Texas. This was in regards to subjects with flashlights walking around in an abandoned house. The female subject was arrested for 5 in house warrants. The male subject was ultimately arrested for a total amount of 39 grams of marijuana, 60mg of amphetamine/dextroamphetamine, 4mg of Alprazolam, and 100mg of sildenafil citrate. The male subject was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2 < 1g, Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 3 < 28g, Possession of Dangerous Drug, and Possession of Marijuana.
  • On February 2, 2019, at approximately 7:59 P.M., Deputy Jose Rodriguez, was dispatched to handle a call by phone about criminal trespassing. A report was made.
  • On February 3, 2019, at around 5:29 P.M., Cpl. Taylor Fletcher, performed a traffic stop on a white Chevrolet pickup. This was for expired vehicle registration on FM 586 near Goodwin Street. The driver, Monty Fraser, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and driving while license invalid. This was after about 0.7 grams of methamphetamine were found in the truck during a consent search.
