BROWNWOOD POLICE REPORTS: DECEMBER 31, 2018

Brownwood News – Brownwood Police Department reports released Monday, December 31, 2018. All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records. If charges are dismissed or the accused is found not guilty, people listed here can contact Brownwood News and provide us with documentation. Your name and mug shot then will be removed from this site in 3-5 business days.

Tuesday December 18

  • A Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to 1500 Terrace Dr #4 7 in reference to dogs at large. They spoke with the complainant and an information report was generated.

Friday December 28

  • Officers were made aware of a burglary of a vehicle via a walk-in call at 1050 W. Commerce. A report was generated.
  • At approximately 4:27 p.m. a Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to the 1300 Blk of Ave D, in reference to an assault. A report was generated.
  • At approximately 4:12 p.m. a Brownwood Police Officer conducted a traffic stop on a black passenger car for expired registration. Claudio Norberto Jr Henry was arrested for Possession of Marijuana<2OZ.
  • Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to the 400 Blk of W. Adams for a disorderly conduct call. John Pitzner was arrested for public intoxication.
  • At approximately 10:09 p.m. officers responded to the 300 Blk of Bluffview Drive in reference to a resident complaining about a strong smell of Marijuana coming from the residence. After contacting John Karakaris he was found to be in possession of Marijuana and had three active Brown County warrants .

Saturday, December 29

  • At approximately 2:38 a.m. officers were dispatched to a north Brownwood business regarding an assault. An investigation and a report were completed.
  • Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Austin Ave in reference to a male chasing vehicles in the roadway with a large blunt object. When officers arrived the subject was detained and subsequently arrested for public intoxication.
  • At approximately 11:27 a.m. a Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to the Police Department (1050 W Commerce St) in reference to a theft. An active report was generated regarding the incident.
  • At approximately 8:32 p.m. a Brownwood police officer was dispatched to a south Brownwood address regarding at theft. Upon arrival an investigation and a report was completed

Sunday, December 30

  • At approximately 1:22 a.m. Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to the1500 block of Davis Ln in reference to a domestic disturbance report. A report has been generated.
  • At approximately 1:29 hours officers were dispatched to a south Brownwood address regarding an assault. An investigation and a report was completed.
  • An officer was dispatched to 1625 Brady Ave in reference to a dog at large complaint. After speaking with the owner of the dogs and the complainant an information report was generated.
  • At approximately 1:22 a.m. a Brownwood PoliceOfficer conducted a traffic stop on a white van for defective equipment in the 3200 block of Stephen F Austin Dr. Dorothy Mazell Schaefer, and Demetria Ann Valenzuela were arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1 <1 G DFZ. Valenzuela was also arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance PG3<28g Drug Free Zone.
  • At approximately 11:45 p.m. Officers responded to Sky View Court in reference to a domestic disturbance that had occurred. After an investigation both parties were separated and a report was generated.
