Jatis P Dees

Jatis P Dees age 85 of Santa Anna passed from this life on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 3:40 pm at Hendricks Hospice Care.
            A memorial service will be announced after Christmas.
            She was born Jatis Leal Perryman in Shreveport, Louisiana on July 2, 1933 to William Amos and Thelma Sue Whitely Perryman.  She was raised in Longview graduating from Longview High School and continuing her education at North Texas State where she received her Bachelor Degree, then receiving her Master Degree from Texas Women’s University.  On December 22, 1952 Jatis married Eddie John Dees in Longview, Texas and they celebrated 65 wonderful years of marriage.  
            Jatis was a retired Educational Diagnostician and member of the Retired Teachers Association of Coleman.  She had been a resident of Santa Anna since 2012 moving here from Porter, Texas and was a member of the Baptist Church.  Jatis was an active member of Pink Ladies at Brownwood Regional Medical Center and an accomplished Concert Pianist and played the Vibra Harp.

Husband – Eddie Dees, Sr. of Santa Anna, Texas
2 Daughters – Lynn Dees and William R Crawford of Bedford, Texas
Layle Dees of Nacogdoches,Texas
Son – Eddie Dees, Jr. of Santa Anna, Texas
Sister – Jeris Jan Henderson of Spring, Texas
Grandson – Joshua S. Dees of Ft Worth, Texas
