Mary “Junice” Davis was 77 when she went to live with the Lord on October 6, 2018.
Junice was born on November 27, 1940 to L. C. and Ruth Jones in Harlingen, TX. Throughout her life she blessed hundreds of people with her contagious smile and heart of gold. Junice never met a stranger and enjoyed taking care of those that she loved the most. From something as small as a piece of one of her famous pies to volunteering with the church she always made everyone around her feel like family. Junice was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was Memaw to six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Junice is survived by her loving husband Don Davis of May, TX, daughter Penny and husband Brian of Saint Jo, TX, son Gary and wife Denise of Panhandle, TX, her church family and numerous friends.
Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Grosvenor Baptist church, Grosvenor, TX.
In lieu of flowers the family would like for donations to be made to the American Cancer Society or Alpha and Omega Hospice care.
