Brownwood News – Brownwood Police Department and Brown County Sheriff’s reports released Thursday, October 4, 2018. All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records. If charges are dismissed or the accused is found not guilty, people listed here can contact Brownwood News and provide us with documentation. Monday, October 1st

  • A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to Lindley Street in regards to criminal mischief.  A rear window to a Dodge Caravan was broken.

Tuesday, October 2nd

  • 12:04 p.m. A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to W. Main Boulevard for an Animal Cruelty report. The incident is still being investigated.

Wednesday, October 3rd

  • 1:49 p.m. A Brownwood Police Office on patrol noticed a black Hyundai with an expired registration. During the course of the traffic stop, officers arrested the driver and passenger, identified as 19 year old Dylan Scott Craig and 20 year old Jeffrey Daniel Schott, for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 >=1G<4G.
  • 6:00 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Avenue B in reference to a violation of a protective order. A 70 year old male subject was arrested on the scene.
  • 6:47 p.m Brownwood Police responded to the 400 block of West Commerce Street in reference to a Domestic Disturbance. A male suspect was identified as 30 year old Corbin Parrack of Bangs, was arrested for Aggravated Assault/Date/Family/House with a Weapon.
