Brownwood News – Brownwood ISD is beginning the referral process for Gifted and Talented (GT) services for the 2018 – 2019 school year. In a recent release, the school district stated it is committed to providing challenging learning experiences for students with exceptional intellectual and creative thinking abilities.

A general information meeting about the district’s GT services and an overview of the characteristics of gifted and talented students will be held Monday, October 1, 2018 in the Conference Room at Brownwood ISD Central Office, 2707 Southside Drive, from 5:30-6:30 pm.  Referral forms will be made available at the meeting.

Anyone wishing to refer a student attending Brownwood ISD in 1st through 12th grade can pick up or request a copy of the referral form at their school office after September 28, 2018.  This form must be returned to the school by Friday, October 12, 2018.  Those unable to go by the school office should call and request a form to be sent to them.
