Brownwood News – Early Police Department reports released Tuesday, September 11, 2018. All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records. If charges are dismissed or the accused is found not guilty, people listed here can contact Brownwood News and provide us with documentation. September 10th

  • 7:00 a.m. Motorist assist – Early Boulevard and Industrial Drive – subject with flat tire. Officer assisted motorist on his way
  • 10:00 a.m. Dog Bite – 200 block of McDonald Drive. Dog quarantined, 2 citations given to owner

September 9th

  • 12:05 p.m. Suspicious call – 100 block of Garmon. Subject loading a lawn mower, not sure that it belongs to him. Everything checked ok
  • 12:15 p.m.  Accident – 300 block of Early Boulevard – no injuries, minor damage
  • 1:10 p.m. Reckless driver – south highway 183. Officer checked the vehicle and no problems
  • 3:30 p.m.  Juvenile problem – 500 block of Lucus. Juvenile ridng go-cart on highway. Advised against the law, subject returned home.
  • 3:35 p.m. Harassment – 100 block of Salt Creek. Caller reported being harassed by text messages
  • 7:40 p.m. Animal complaint – 100 block of Meadow Glen. Dogs fighting – 2 people bitten by dogs.
  • 11:20 p.m.  Domestic disturbance – 100 block of Canal.

September 8th

  • 10:10 a.m. Medical Emergency – 100 block of Northline. Lifeguard transported

September 7th

  • 10:00 a.m. Welfare check – 1000 block of Early Boulevard – everything checked ok
  • 12:15 p.m. Forgery – 1000 block of Early Boulevard – officer met bank staff at elderly male home. Subject writing checks on his account. Report taken
  • 12:51 p.m.  Reckless driver – subject driving on wrong side of road. Officers caught subject near Blanket. Elderly female is missing person from Illinois. EMS transported female to ER.
  • 2:15 p.m. Accident – Agency assist. Highway 183 North. County Road 381. 2 vehicle. Fire / EMS notified. Gas line struck. Power pole broken.
  • 5:40 p.m. 100 block of McDonald. Parking violation
  • 5:45 p.m. Cable down – 500 block of Early Boulevard – caller wasn’t sure if the cable was a live power cable or not. Officer checked – old cable line.

September 6th

  • 2:05 a.m. 100 block of Orchard Drive. Parking violation.
  • Theft – 900 block of Early Boulevard
  • Reckless Driver – south Hwy 183. Vehicle weaving. Officer check driver. no problem
  • Agency assist with Lampasas CO SO. – County Road 344. Reference stolen trailer.
  • Disorderly Conduct – 800 block of Early Boulevard – problem settled.
  • Noise Nuisance – 130 Sudderth Dr. Officer talked to apt being complained on. Will turn music down

September 4th

  • 1:20 a.m.  Agency assist in pursuit with Brownwood
  • 2:00 a.m. Unwanted person – 600 block of Lucus Dr. Criminal Trespass warning issued to male subject
  • 9:00 a.m. Welfare check – Suttee Drive. Everything ok
  • 10:00 a.m. Motorist assist – Early Boulevard/hwy 183 north. Vehicle broke down in the intersection
  • 6:20 p.m. Alarm call – 100 block of Early Boulevard – building secure
  • 8:10 p.m. Theft – 1000 block of Early Boulevard – jewelry stolen
