Brownwood Police Reports: September 10, 2018

Brownwood News – Brownwood Police Department reports released Monday, September 10, 2018. All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records. If charges are dismissed or the accused is found not guilty, people listed here can contact Brownwood News and provide us with documentation. Your name and mug shot then will be removed from this site in 3-5 business days.

Friday, September 7th

  • 7:19 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Brady Avenue in reference to a dog at large. A citation was issued.
  • 12:24 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to a north Brownwood business regarding a theft. According to the report, one subject was arrested for Theft of Property >=$100<$750, Class B Misdemeanor.
  • 5:18 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of Bailey Street regarding a theft that had occurred earlier in the day.
  • 11:16 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Phillips in reference to a hit and run.

Saturday, September 8th

  • 4:17 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 2300 block of Vine Street in reference to a motor vehicle collision. After an investigation, officers arrested  44 year old David Hernandez for Driving While Intoxicated – 3rd or More Offense, Assault on a Public Servant, and Duty on Striking an Unattended Vehicle. Hernandez was released on bonds totaling $22,500.
  • 4:30 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 600 block of W. Commerce regarding an altercation. When officers arrived on the scene they discovered the parties involved had left. A report was taken for further investigation.
  • 12:40 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of E. Commerce regarding a suspicious person. Officers arrested a subject for possession of marijuana, less than two ounces.
  • 1:26 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding a theft. One subject was arrested.
  • 3:26 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1700 block of Houston Street in regards to a disorderly conduct call.

Sunday, September 9th

  • 6:07 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of 8th Street for a suspicious person. Officers met with the complainant about a suspicious male in the area. Officers then met with the suspicious person and a report was made for theft and deadly conduct.
  • 6:30 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1700 block of Houston Street in reference to Criminal Trespass. According to reports, 27 year old David Taylor Hart was arrested for Criminal Trespass and Possession of a Controlled Substance Pg1 > 1g, as well as additional warrants.
  • 7:17 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Marketplace Boulevard in reference to trespassing.
  • 8:33 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Avenue D in reference to a motor vehicle collision. After an investigation, 28 year old Monica Elaine Villarreal was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
  • 9:52 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to 1200 block of Irma Street in reference to an assault. During this call, a suspect was located and was found to be heavily intoxicated. During the investigation, the suspect was found to have assaulted one person and threatened to assault another. The suspect, identified in jail logs as 36 year old Zane Kimble, was arrested for two counts of Assault Threat or Offensive Touch and one count of Public Intoxication, and was transported to the Brown Co Jail.
