John Henry Hull

Graveside services for John Henry Hull, age 88 of Early, Texas will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at the Murray Memorial Cemetery in Carbon, Texas.  The family will receive friends 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm Monday at the Heartland Funeral Home in Early.  Mr. Hull went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 31, 2018 in Brownwood. 

John Henry was born on September 30, 1929 in Scranton, Texas to Ben and Clara Douglas Hull and served in the United States Army.  On September 16, 1961 he married Ella Joann Hogan. Originally from Scranton, he lived in Cisco, Brownwood and finally Early.   John started out doing farm and orchard work and later worked for the Boss Glove Company, was a barber for a while and retired from 3M after many years of service.   He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Fred and his wife Carolyn of Cisco.  

Survivors include his wife Ella Hull of Early; two sons John B. Hull of Early and Monte Hull and wife Maria of Early; two grandsons Jonathan Hull of Abilene and Jacob Hull of Brownwood; one brother Harvey Hull and wife Dixie of Eastland, Texas; two sisters Lois Jones of Cisco, Texas and Lavern Adams and husband Charlie of Hurst, Texas.

Heartland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
