Oleta Crawford

Funeral services for Oleta Crawford, 78, of Brownwood will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at the High Mesa Cowboy Church with Pastor Todd King officiating.  Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday, September 3, 2018 at Davis-Morris Funeral Home.  Mrs. Crawford passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018.

Oleta Fay Graves was born November 26, 1939 in Mineral Wells in Palo Pinto County to Moram Clifton and Goldie Greenleaf (Dodson) Graves.  She married Homer Dan Crawford on October 4, 1956.  She was a homemaker but sometimes helped her husband with his roofing business.  Oleta was a member of the Austin Avenue Church of Christ where she attended faithfully until her health began to fail.  She then attended High Mesa Cowboy Church with her daughter.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Lisa Willett, Larry and Cheryl Crawford and Danny and Teresa Crawford; sister Peggy Dudley; nine grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Goldie Graves; her husband, Homer Crawford; daughter, Bonnie Crawford and sisters and brothers, Clifton Graves, Ray Graves, Nevada Bond, Argie Mills, AdaLee Bumgardner, and Freida Womack.
