Brownwood News – Brownwood ISD announces that handicap parking for the home side of Gordon Wood Stadium will be relocated a short distance from its usual location for this Friday’s game only.

The Lions’ season opener this week is being televised by Fox Sports Southwest, who will be bringing large broadcasting trucks for satellite transmission purposes.  These trucks will be located against the fence on the home side in those spots usually designated for handicap parking.  Those needing handicap parking will have plenty of available access to designated spots approximately 20 feet from their typical locations.  Bobby August, Grounds Supervisor for BISD, says that personnel and visible signage will be in place to direct those need handicap parking to the correct area.

All parking for the remaining games of the Lions’ 2018-19 season will be in their standard locations.  If you have any questions about this Friday’s game against Brock, please call the Brownwood ISD main number of 325-643-5644.  Kick-off for this special televised game is 5:30 pm.
