Brownwood News – Brownwood City Hall, City Service Center, Landfill and other non-emergency city facilities will close Monday, September 3rd, in observance of Labor Day. The Police, Fire Departments, and other critical city services will remain unaffected by the closure. Regular operational hours for all City facilities will resume on Tuesday, September 4th.

Residential curbside solid waste collections for Monday will take place on Tuesday, September 4th. Collections for Tuesday’s will take place on Wednesday, September 5th, and collections for Thursday and Friday will return to regular schedule. 

As a Reminder: Have your carts out by 7 a.m. to insure collection and bag your waste and tie securely before placing in carts (bagged trash prevents litter). 

After hours Emergency services for water line breaks and sewer backups are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week by calling police dispatch at 325-646-6000.
