35 Days Until School Starts: Supply Lists Posted for BISD

Brownwood News – The first day of school for the Brownwood Independent School District is August 22nd. Registration for new students in kindergarten through 6th grade will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, July 30-31, at the BISD central office. Registration for new students in grades 7-12 will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, August 1-2, at the BISD central office.

Meet the Teacher nights are scheduled for East, Northwest, and Woodland Heights Elementary Schools on Monday, August 20th, from 4 to 6 p.m. Coggin Intermediate School will host their fourth grade Meet the Teacher event at 5:30 p.m. and 5th grade at 6:30 p.m. Brownwood Middle School will host a Meet the Teacher event from 5 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 16th. The Brownwood High School will host their Meet the Teacher event on the same day from 6 to 7 p.m. Sixth grade students will have a Meet the Teacher night on August 21st at 5:30 p.m.

The following 2018-2019 supply lists for grades K-8th have been posted on the BISD website. Individual classrooms and teachers may have additional supply requests for their students.
