Brownwood News – The Early City Council will meet at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, in the Council Chambers inside Early City Hall located at 960 Early Boulevard to discuss items listed on the posted agenda.

B. Consideration of the minutes of regular meeting held on June 12, 2018.

C. Citizen’s comments. (Citizens are invited to speak to the Council on any topic not already on the agenda. No Council action may be taken)

1. Administrator’s Report.

E. Matters of New Business

1. Discuss and consider approval to change street name for Trailer Drive to Oak Street. By: Tony Aaron

2. Consider an Ordinance, 2018-06, to annex and designate the permanent zoning of 0.89 acres of Jacob Duckworth, Survey 56, Abstract 240 as 421 Monte Vista. By: Tony Aaron

3. Discuss and consider clarification of the minutes for meeting held on May 8, 1973 to close the extension of Homewood Circle from Early Blvd. By: Tony Aaron

4. Consideration for approval of Hotel Occupancy Tax Fund Grant request applications. By: Denise Hudson

1. Aldersgate Enrichment Center for Clays & Praise Classic, Resolution 2018-CVR02.

2. Fun-N-Sun Boats for Bass Clubs of Texas Top 6 Tournament, Resolution 2018-CVR03.

5. Consider appointing three (3) board members to Municipal Development District. By: Tony Aaron

6. Consideration of Resolution 2018-EDR08, approving the use of Economic Development sales tax funds for community improvements at McDonald Park. By: Larry McConn

7. Consider awarding winning bid proposal for construction of Basketball Court at McDonald Park. By: Larry McConn

F. Executive Session in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, Section 551.087, Deliberation regarding Economic Development.

G. Reconvene into Open Session and consider action, if any, on items discussed in Executive Session.

1. Consider Resolution 2018-EDR06, on second and final reading, approving MunicipalDevelopment funding request from Ronald Gee. By: Larry McConn
