According to the release, on June 28th, the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Brownwood Police Department, executed an arrest warrant in the 800 block of Norwood Street in Brownwood. During a search of the residence, officers seized 203 gram of methamphetamine, a semi-automatic handgun, and a stolen vehicle out of Dallas County.

“The sheriff would like to remind the citizens that all law enforcement in Brown County are working diligently together to make our community safer,” the release stated.

The residence was located within 1,000 feet of East Elementary School, which enhances the crime due to it being a drug free zone.

Individuals arrested are as follows:

  • Alexander Villareal, 28 year old, for Possession of Controlled Substance Drug Free Zone, 3rd Degree Felony.
