Brownwood News – Brownwood Police Department reports released Monday, June 11, 2018. All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records. If charges are dismissed or the accused is found not guilty, people listed here can contact Brownwood News and provide us with documentation. Your name and mug shot then will be removed from this site in 3-5 business days.

Friday, June 8th

9:57 a.m. A Brownwood Police Officer on patrol witnessed a couple arguing in a vehicle that was stopped in the middle of the roadway. During an investigation, the officer determined an assault had occurred between the couple and an arrest was made.

12:00 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to a northside location in reference to a report of harassment which resulted in a report of an assault by threat.

5:45 p.m. A Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of Main Street for an assault. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with several individuals. One person was transported to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center for injuries. A report has been filed.

Saturday, June 9th

11:30 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Main Street in reference to criminal mischief.

5:00 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Law Enforcement Center in reference to an assault.

Sunday, June 10th

12:00 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of 2nd Street in reference to a domestic disturbance.

1:30 p.m. A Brownwood Police Officer responded to a northside business in reference to a theft that had occurred the previous day.

2:00 p.m. A Brownwood Police Officer responded to a northside business in reference to a hit and run accident. A report was filed and a suspect has been identified.
