Brownwood News – Brownwood City Hall, Landfill/Recycling Center, City Service Center and other non-emergency city facilities will close Monday May 28 in observance of Memorial Day.  Regular operational hours for all City facilities will resume on Tuesday May 29.

Emergency services are available for water line breaks and sewer backups 24 hours a day, seven days a week by calling 325-646-6000. Residential curbside trash routes for the week will run as follows: 

• Monday’s collection will take place on Tuesday
• Tuesday’s collection will take place on Wednesday 
• Thursday and Friday will run regular schedule. 
• Reminder: please have your carts out by 7 a.m. to insure collection; Call 325-643-4200 with questions.
