Brownwood News – Friday, May 4th, is International Firefighters Appreciation Day. The Brown County Republican Women’s Caring for America Committee and the Brown County Retired Teachers Association are partnering to recognize Brown County Firefighters. The two groups are asking their members to help in this task. The groups will be presenting certificates of appreciation and encouraging members to bring cookies, cake, and other snacks to share with local firefighters.
