Our father James Don Boswell passed away at his home on Lake Brownwood Monday, April 30, 2018. A memorial service will be held Saturday May 5, 2018 at the North Lake Community Church at 3pm

Our daddy was 88 years old. He was born in Commerce Texas December 28, 1929 to Noble Forest Boswell and Vergie Jenave Williams/Boswell.

He is survived by children Judy Elizabeth Waits of Lone Oak Texas, Susan Janelle Boswell-Saulters of Commerce, Texas her husband Bobby, daughter Debra Allen Boswell, of Brownwood, son Julius Hunt and his wife Donna also of Brownwood. Nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one great great grand son.

Mr. Boswell, loved his family And His friends deeply . He was a good chatterer . Loved his hang out time with his friends in his so-called man-cave.

Mr. Boswell was preceded in death by his parents and brother Weldon Laverne Boswell “Mickey”.

As a young man he served two years in the Air Force. He was a member of the Odd Fellows in Greenville and Brownwood. This was very close to his heart.

In lieu of flowers the family would like you to donate to ALZ foundation as he suffered from this disease. Let’s help find a cure.

One thing we girls will miss is when we said goodbye on the phone he would turn around and say  “cycle”.

We will miss you, and always have you in our hearts.  Cremation services entrusted to Brownwood Funeral Home.  Online Condolence may be made at www.brownwoodfuneralhome.net
