Services for Guy “Woody” Webster, 66, of Brownwood will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the funeral home.  Woody passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018

Guy Woodall Webster, Jr. was born January 15, 1952 to Guy Woodall Sr. and Florence (McCormick) Webster in Midland, Texas.  Soon after, the family moved to Lovington, New Mexico where Woody grew up.  He married Sheryl Lamorella on January 14, 2006 in Brownwood.  Woody was a nurse in the emergency room at Brownwood Regional Medical Center before becoming a Quality Assurance Specialist until his retirement.  He was very passionate about his work and was well-liked by both patients and co-workers.  In his spare time, Woody loved to ride motorcycles, go on Carnival cruises and take his Olds 442 to car shows.  One of Woody’s other passions was decorating for Christmas.  He took great pride in building his annual yard display, and neighbors looked forward to it each year.  He also loved his bulldogs.  Woody touched the lives of many, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Sheryl Webster of Brownwood; children, Stacey Webster Tran and Dawayne Webster; sister, Glynn Drewery; seven grandchildren, nieces, nephews, furbabies, Paris, Peanut, Sadie, along with numerous cats and a host of special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved bulldogs, Bert and Daisy.

Online memorials can be left at www.davismorrisfuneralhome.com
