Gaiden Lynn Crelia, age 20, of San Angelo formerly of Brownwood passed away Friday, April 20, 2018, in San Angelo.

Funeral Services for Gaiden will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2018, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Harley Griffin officiating; burial will follow at Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery in Goldthwaite. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.

Gaiden was born on November 9, 1997, in Brownwood. He graduated from San Angelo Lake View High School in 2016. Gaiden married, Emmy Williams Crelia, on February 11, 2017; they have a beautiful daughter, Ava Mykal Lynn Crelia, who was the light of his life.

Gaiden was a loving family man, putting family above all else. He enjoyed playing Xbox with friends. But most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends, especially playing with his daughter. He was a gentle giant with the biggest heart, and a protector. Gaiden was loved by everyone he met, touching the lives of everyone in some kind of way!

Gaiden leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Emmy Crelia of San Angelo; daughter, Ava Mykal Lynn Crelia of San Angelo; parents, Joe and Bobbie Crelia of San Angelo; biological mother, Wilda Coronado of KS; siblings, Aaron “Spooby” Smith and wife Makayla of Brownwood, William Smith, Jr. and wife Kassi of Brownwood, Sherrey Mostrom and husband Josh of KS, and Gregory Henley of Killeen; and paternal grandparents, E.J. and Barbara Lemons of Brownwood; maternal grandmother, Nancy Lanning of KS. He is also survived numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bailey and Carolyn Crelia; and maternal grandfather, Johnny Harvell.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Blaylock Funeral Home to help offset the funeral expenses. Online condolences for the family are welcome at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com.
