Billie Jean (Miles) Alldredge, age 67, of Zephyr, TX passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018. She was born on August 22, 1950, to Eugene Dalton and Billie Faye (Clark) Miles. She married love of her life, Michael Garland Alldredge, on September 18, 1982 in Snyder, TX. Mike and Billie not only shared a life together, they were also one another’s best friend. A God-fearing woman, her Christian beliefs were rooted in the Pentecostal faith.
Billie worked as Secretary to the Board of Directors for Comanche County Community Hospital for many years. She then served as Secretary to the Board of Directors for Brownwood Regional Medical Center for a short time before retiring due to health reasons.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Michael; one brother, Larry Odell Miles and wife Linda, of Monroe, MI; two sons, Dewey Glenn Coy and wife Candace, of Cabot, AR, and Jason Wesley Coy and wife Veronica, of Snyder, TX; two step-daughters, Stephanie Jan Patterson, of Round Rock, TX, and Jennifer Dawn Smith and husband Tom, of Live Oak, TX. She was “Granny” to 7 grandchildren, Leighton, Cailey, Jaden, Collin, Anthony, Adyn, and Christian.
She is preceded in death by both her parents, Eugene and Billie; her sister, Diatra Lorene Miles; and her grandson, Ethan Angel Coy.
Visitation and services will be held at the Heartland Funeral Home in Early, TX. Visitation will be on Friday, April 21, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Services will be held on Saturday, April 22, at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Zephyr Cemetery, Zephyr, TX.
