Anthony Pollard Jr. Better known as “Big A” 42 of Waco passed away Tuesday April 3, 2018 in Waco. Funeral Services will be held Saturday April 14, 2018 at 11:00am at the Greater Faith Community Church. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to Funeral service from 10-11:00am.

Anthony was born July 12, 1975 in Cleburne TX to Anthony Pollard Sr. and Addie Smith. The family moved to Houston when Anthony was young. Anthony received his education from Houston Independent School District, graduatin from Alief Hasting High School. Soon after high school Anthony attended TSTC and received a degree in Culinary Arts. Anthony loved to cook and was a cook for many years. He was the Head cook at Hooters, Rudys and Applebee’s just to name a few. “Big A” accepted Christ into his life and was a member of the Mt. Zion CME Church.

Left to cherish his memories are mother Addie Smith of Brownwood, father Anthony Pollard Sr. of Fort Worth, children; Chico of Comanche, Mickey of Brownwood, and Jaden of Wisconsin. Siblings; Edwin Thomas of Fort Worth, Amy Pollard, Lola Pollard, and LaTasha Holman all of Brownwood. Fiancé Kristie Johnson of Waco TX, mother In-law Allene Johnson of Waco. Nieces and nephews: Britaney, Malachi, Solomon, Ethan, Andre, and Serenity. Services entrusted to Brownwood Funeral Home. Online Condolences may be made at www.brownwoodfuneralhome.net
