Brownwood News – Brownwood Independent School District is accepting transfer applications during the month of April for the 2018-2019 school year. Current transfer students must submit an application each year.

New out-of-district applications will be accepted for students in grades kindergarten through grade twelve. BISD does not accept PK students for transfer. The student’s most recent report card must be attached to the request for students new to BISD.

Applications must be submitted by Monday, April 30, for returning students. Notification of approval or denial will be mailed to applicants by July 26.

Transfer applications are available at campus offices, the Central Administration Office located at 2707 Southside Drive between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., or on the BISD website at www.brownwoodisd.org/transfers.
