Brownwood News – The Brown County Commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 26th, in the Brown County Courthouse in Brownwood to discuss a number of items posted on the agenda.

D. Matter of New Business to be presented to the Court for its consideration and action as appropriate. Items may not be taken in the order that they are listed.

1. Joel Kelton, Pct 2 – Consideration and possible approval of action regarding burn ban;

2. Sharon Ferguson, County Clerk-Consideration and possible approval ofremoving all private imaging devices from the Office of the Brown County Clerk other than laptop computers with handheld scanners, without a flash or light;

3. Cheryl Jones, District Clerk – Consideration and possible approval of removing all private imaging devices from the Office of the Brown County District Clerk other than laptop computers with handheld scanners, without a flash or light;

4. Larry Traweek, Pct 4 -Application to install private line, CR 611;

5. Vance Hill, Sheriff – Authorization to purchase software update for cell check logs;

6. Vance Hill, Sheriff – Discussion and possible approval to hire part time jail maintenance person;

7. Vance Hill, Sheriff – Authorization to accept grant from the Texas Health and Human Services for two communify mental health deputies in the amount of $222,389, funded by HB 13;

8. Wayne Shaw, Pct 3 – Consideration and possible approval to declare vehicle/equipment/building as surplus;

9. Wayne Shaw, Pct 3 – Consideration and possible approval to sell surplus vehicle/ equipment on GovDeals;
