Roberto Marin, Jr., age 56, of May passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018, in Mexico.

Funeral Services for Roberto will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Frances Njoku officiating; burial will follow at May Cemetery. Rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Monday evening at Blaylock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.

Roberto was born to Roberto, Sr. and Julia (Trejo) Marin on January 21, 1962, in Durango, Mexico. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He did construction work around Brownwood for many years. Roberto loved his family and spending time with them; he also loved BBQ’ing and working on cars.

Roberto is survived by his mother, Julia Marin of May; siblings, Maria Socorro Carreon and husband Juan Gabriel of Mexico, Rosa Marin and husband Juan Castillo of Brownwood, Salud Marin of Belton, Miguel Marin of Brownwood, Maria Elena Pineda and husband Curtis Burnett of May, Victor Marin and wife Shadie Hernandez of Brownwood, Veronica Robinette and husband Lee of May, Mina Rodriguez and husband Samuel, Jr. of May; he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roberto Marin, Sr.; and uncle, Henry Trejo.
