Arredondo Indicted for organized criminal activity after attempting to sell over a pound of Meth

Brownwood News – During the February 2018, session of the Brown County Grand Jury, fifty-five (55) True Bills were returned against forty-two (42) persons. Listed in those indictments was 40 year old Jaime Arredondo, indicted for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity. Arredondo allegedly conspired with seven other individuals to sell 627 grams (a pound and a half) of methamphetamine. Brownwood and Early Police along with Brown County Sheriff’s Deputies seized the methamphetamine in January 2017, after executing a search warrant at a home in the 500 block of Seventh Street, in the largest meth bust in Brownwood’s history.

• Marlana Sotelo Gomez – (Two Counts) Possession Of A Controlled Substance – Drug Free Zone – Repeat Offender, Tampering With Or Fabricating Physical Evidence

• Casey Alexander Durant – Continuous Violence Against The Family
• Damon Wayne Beard – Forgery – State Jail Felony Enhancement
• Kenneth Lee Hair – Assault Family Violence- Enhanced – Repeat Offender
• Daniel Ray Doyle, Jr. – Tampering With Or Fabricating Physical Evidence
• Ayriana Nicole Matamoros – Assault Of A Public Servant
• Jessica Snyder – Harassment Of A Public Servant
The District Attorney’s Office does not release names on new indictments until after the Grand Jury proceedings have been processed through the District Clerk and a file marked copy of the grand jury report has been returned. The District Attorney’s Office does not release names of defendants who have been indicted by a Grand Jury but not yet arrested because of an indictment being sealed until the time of arrest.
