Funeral Service for Nancy Joan Jackson, age 81, of Brownwood will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2018 at The Church of the Good Shepherd with Father Robert McBride officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Nancy went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. Nancy was born on October 5, 1936, to Clifford and Dorothy (Shepherd) Rigney in Ft. Worth. She lived in Ft. Worth until she and her husband retired. She retired from General Dynamics/Lockheed after 26 years. Nancy has been a resident of Brownwood since 2001. Some of her interest were quilting, playing duplicate bridge and scuba diving.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 48 years, Stacy Jackson; 4 sons, Michael Lee Smith, Clay Alan Smith, Gary Wade Smith and wife Constance, Bradley Neal Jackson and wife Heather; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Couch of Midland; sister-in-law, Charlessa Crittenden; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Dorothy Rigney; and sister, Judy Coppock.
