Brownwood News – Early Police Department reports released Tuesday, February 27, 2018. All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records. February 21st

  • Medical emergency – 900 block of Early Boulevard – Lifeguard transported
  • Agency Assist – BCSO – Vehicle Pursuit
  • Assault – 100 block of Early Boulevard
  • Suspicious – 200 block of Early Boulevard – open gate at business.

February 22nd

  • Accident – 100 block of CC Woodson
  • Accident – Sudderth/Early Blvd – 2 vehicle. Fire/EMS responded. 1 transported by EMS
  • Medical Emergency – 200 block of Hillcrest. Lifeguard Ems transported
  • Forgery – 100 block of Longhorn – theft of mail
  • Harassment – 600 block of Early Boulevard
  • Medical Emergency – 200 block of Live Oak – lifeguard transporting

February 23rd

  • Burglary of motor vehicle
  • Suspicious call – 200 block of Early Boulevard – gate to property open. Everything on property checked ok. Owner notified
  • Agency Assist – warrant service – 300 block of Lucus
  • Medical emergency – Sudderth Drive – Lifeguard transported
  • Theft of Services – 100 block of Chaparral.
  • Accident – 800 block of Early Boulevard – 2 vehicle Fire/EMS responded. 1 citation issued to at-fault driver
  • Weapon Offense – 600 block of Longhorn. Caller thought he heard gunshots. Checked the area. nothing found
  • Reckless Driver – East Commerce. Vehicle located. Warning issued
  • Fire Call – 400 block of Early Boulevard – Business Sign on fire. Fire out, owner notified
  • Harassment call – 900 block of Early Boulevard – Caller given options

February 24th

  • Civil Matter – 400 block of Early Boulevard – Options given
  • Traffic Hazard – 1500 block of Early Boulevard – vehicle broke down. Officer Assisted driver
  • Animal Compliant – Skyview. Deer struck by vehicle
  • Fire call – N Hwy 183. House fire. Officer assisted with traffic
  • Suspicious call – 500 block of Early Boulevard – vehicle parked at business after hours
  • Juvenile Problem – 100 block of Meadow Lane. Caller stated juveniles were looking into cars.
  • Unwanted Person – 200 block of E Hall. Caller wanted subject to leave and individual was refusing.
  • Suspicious –  Longhorn Drive – City park. Vehicle spot lighting Deer

February 25th

  • Suspicious – 900 block of Early Boulevard – officer out checking pedestrian
  • Reckless Driver – North Hwy 183. Vehicle high rate of speed and weaving in traffic. BCSO located vehicle
  • Animal complaint – 500 block of Sunrise – caller stated dogs were bothering her horses. Dogs gone on officer arrival unable to locate now.
  • Medical emergency – Mcdonald Dive –  lifeguard transporting
  • Suspicious – 200 block of Early Boulevard  – vehicle parked in front of business. caller wanting patrol

February 26th

  • Theft – 900 block of Early Boulevard
  • Medical Emergency – 100 block of Early Boulevard – Lifeguard transported
  • Accident – 200 block of Early Boulevard – 2 vehicles- Fire/EMS responded. 1 transported
  • Theft – 900 block of Early Boulevard
