Brownwood News – Blake Whitehead, 30 years old of Brownwood, was sentenced to 25 years in prison for two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and two counts of indecency with a child by the Brown County Court at Law on Tuesday, February 20, 2018.

Blake Whitehead plead guilty and waived his right to a jury trial. A bench trial was presided by Judge Sam Moss. In addition to serving 25 years in prison, Blake Whitehead will be required to register as a sex offender for life.

Whitehead was arrested in January 2017 by Brown County Sheriff’s Deputies on three warrants for sex crimes against minors. The two victims were under the age of 16 years old at the time of the offenses. His bail was set at $150,000 at the time of his arrest.
