Brownwood News – The Early High School One-Act Play Team will present “Demons of Fleet Street: A Tragic Story of Love and Pies,” an adaption from The Penny Dreadful “A String of Pearls,” by J.L. Henry.

Attendees are invited to “follow the adventures of Mrs. Lovett and Mr. Todd, two somewhat unlikely partners in crime, as they slice, dice, and bake their way through Fleet Street in London. Mrs. Lovett is in love with Mr. Todd, and she is willing to do whatever it takes to make him love her, too. When the innocent angel, Johanna, catches Mr. Todd’s affections, Mrs. Lovett makes plans to prepare one last special batch of pies.” The production is directed by Ren Yantis and Amber Jones.
