BMS athletes will compete in the Jr. Bluebonnet Relays next week. Events will start at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd and will continue into the evening. This year’s teams include host Brownwood, Graham, Sweetwater, Jim Ned, Midland Christian, and Lingleville. Athletes will compete in 17 different competitions and the top three finishers in each event will be awarded medals. Team championship plaques will also be given to the top teams in each division.

In March, the Bluebonnet Relays will fill Gordon Wood Stadium and BHS athletes will take their turn competing in track and field events through the day beginning tentatively at noon on the 2nd.  Events will continue the following Saturday starting at 11:00 a.m. Additional information and schedule details for the Bluebonnet Relays will be released and posted on the Brownwood ISD website (www.brownwoodisd.org) as soon as it is available.
