Brownwood News – The Early City Council will meet at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, in the Council Chambers inside Early City Hall located at 960 Early Boulevard to discuss items listed on the posted agenda.

A. Call to order, Invocation, Pledge of Allegiance

B. Consideration of the minutes of regular meeting held on January 9, 2018.

C. Citizen’s comments. (Citizens are invited to speak to the Council on any topic not already on the agenda. No Council action may be taken)

D. Reports (No Council action may be taken)

1. Department Reports

i. Public Works-Water & Sewer (Wade Walker)

ii. Parks (David Gist)

iii. Fire (Chief Hill)

iv. Convention & Visitors Bureau (Denise Hudson)

v. Municipal Development District (Larry Mcconn)

2. Administrator’s Report.

E. Matters of New Business

1. Consider approving a Resolution, 2018-R0l, ordering an election to be held May 5, 2018 to elect three (3) Council members and providing details relating to the holding of such election. By: Mayor Mangrum

2. Review and consider for approval the City of Early Investment Policy & Strategy as adopted by Ordinance 2005-21, December 13, 2005. By: Tony Aaron

F. Executive Session in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, Section 551.087, Deliberation regarding Economic Development.

G. Reconvene into Open Session and consider action, if any, on items discussed in Executive Session.

1. Consider Resolution 2018-EDR0l, on first reading, approving Municipal Development funding request from Jason Cockerham. (First reading only, no Council action may be taken)

H. Announcements
