Graveside services for Minnie Blackmon Bishop, 80, of Bangs will be held at 1 PM Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Rock Church Cemetery in Blanket with Pastor Bill Slaymaker officiating.  Mrs. Bishop passed away Friday, February 2, 2018.

Minnie Marie Blackmon was born December 27, 1937 in Blanket, Texas to Roy Lee and Zelma Fay (Porter) Blackmon.  She was a homemaker who loved to work in the yard, fish and raise kids.  Minnie was a great mom, granny, aunt and sister who will be greatly missed.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include children, Debbie and Lonnie Crouch of Bangs, Anita and Ron Gresham of Brownwood and Bobbie Turner of Brownwood; LOTS of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jackie Wayne Bishop; grandson, James Turner II; great grandson, Little Billy Jones; sisters, Audrey Trusty, Martha Carrouth and Barbara Emerson; niece Beverly Crouch; nephew, Jessie Wayne Crouch II and sons-in-law, Roger Camp, Mike Turner, Carlton Teague and Joe Bob Jones.
