UIL Announces District Alignments for the 2018-20 School Years

Brownwood News – The University Interscholastic League announced its athletic district alignments for the 2018-19 and 2019-20 school years Thursday morning.

The Lions are now in Region II, Class 4A Division I, District 5 with long time rival Stephenville, Gatesville, China Spring and Waco La Vega.

Non-football sports, the Lions and Lady Lions will compete in Region II, District 7 and with Stephenville, Glen Rose, Godley, and Mineral Wells.

Early remains in District 3 of Class 3A Division I football,  but the district will now be made up of the Longhorns, Wall, Breckenridge, Clyde, Eastland, and Jim Ned.

In Class 3A Division II, Bangs will be in District 4, along with Anson, Ballinger, Cisco, Merkel, Grape Creek and San Angelo TLCA.

In non-football sports, Early and Bangs will remain in District 6 with Cisco, Coleman, Comanche, Dublin, Eastland, and Hamilton.

Six-man football – May will be in District 14-A Division I with Gorman, Lingleville, and Santa Anna. Zephyr will be in District 15-A Division I with Evant, Jonesboro, and Lometa.

Class A Division II, District 15 is now Blanket, Brookesmith, Mullin, Rising Star and Sidney. District 16 will be Richland Springs, Panther Creek, Cherokee, Lohn and Rochelle.
