Disa Carruth joined the BRMC Volunteer Organization in August of 2012. She currently volunteers in the Emergency Room Waiting Room and at the Information Desk at the front entrance of Brownwood Regional Medical Center. She served as the BRMC Volunteers Vice President of Membership from 2013 thru 2015.

Her 5 plus years of experience as a BRMC Volunteer is a great asset to the BRMC Volunteer Organization. Disa always strives to meet the needs and expectations of BRMC Staff, Patients, and Visitors she serves. She has accumulated over 2140 hours of volunteer service at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

The Volunteer of the Month Award is awarded by the BRMC Volunteers each month during the year. Recipients of the Award receive recognition and lunch at the Executive Board Meeting held in the month following the month for which they are selected.

The BRMC Volunteers are always excited to meet area individuals who are interested in becoming a Volunteer and are actively soliciting new members. If you have an interest in volunteering a minimum of 6 to 8 hours per month, you will find BRMC Volunteering will meet your needs. BRMC Volunteer applications may be obtained in the BRMC Gift Shop, at the front entrance information desk, online at http://www.brmc-cares.com or by calling the BRMC Volunteer Office at 325-649-3399 or emailing the BRMC Volunteers at brmc_volunteer@brmc-cares.com and stating that you would like to become a BRMC Volunteer.
