Scott Coers – In the final game of the evening at the Brownwood Lion boys varsity basketball team defeated the Llano Yellowjackets 45-36. With the win the Lions advance to the semifinal round of the TexasBank Holiday Classic. The Lions next matchup will be at 5:10 pm Friday evening at Brownwood Coliseum where they will square off against Denver City. Denver City defeated Cisco Thursday evening 71-53 to advance to the semifinals.

The Lady Lions lost their evening matchup to Colorado City 49-38. The Lady Lions next game will be at 11:10 am verse Milsap at the Brownwood Coliseum.
