Funeral services for Cleo Jowers, age 84, of Zephyr, Texas will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Heartland Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Zephyr Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM Saturday prior to her service. Mr. Jowers passed away Wednesday, December 27th in a Bangs Nursing Home.
Cleo Ellen was born on February 3, 1933 in Llano, Texas where she married Cecil Jowers. She had lived in Brown County for the past 30 years and was retired from the Brownwood State School.
Survivors include her sons and their wives Don and Carol Jowers of Bertram, Texas, Rick and Dora Jowers of Liberty Hill, Texas, Jeff and Annette Jowers of Bertram, and Cliff and Lisa Jowers of Blanket, Texas, sisters Pat Miller and Alberta Hlozek, two brothers Charles Scott and J.D. Scott, sixteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son George Steven (Steve) Jowers
