BHS Band Students Qualify for ATSSB All Region Concert Band

Press Release – Members of the Brownwood High School (BHS) Concert Band recently traveled to Graham High School to try out for the Association of Texas Small School Bands (ATSSB) Region 7 Concert Band.

The following students qualified for the band: Ben Johnson, Parker Howard, Jayden Woodard, Tildon Saucillo, Jose Lira, Korbem Cardenas, Mackinley Coppic, Laurel Glass, Alex Binnix, Maecy DeLaCruz, and Keommi Bond.

These students will participate in practices and perform a concert at Tarleton University in January.

In addition, the following BHS Band students scored high enough to advance on to the Area level in January at Argyle High School: Parker Howard, Jayden Woodard, Jose Lira, Laurel Glass, Alex Binnix, Maecy DeLaCruz, and Keomii Bond.

“Congratulations to these outstanding students,” stated David Lambert, BHS Band Director. “Way to go!”
