Santa Spotting 2017: Catch ol’ Saint Nick around the Brownwood Area

Brownwood News – Santa will be making the rounds in the Brownwood and Early area throughout December. A list of appearances is posted below. If you know of an event featuring Jolly Ol’ Saint Nick to be included in this list, please email [email protected].

December 8th

  • Jacob’s Pharmacy, 2701 Austin Avenue

2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Santa will be sitting for pictures – there is no fee charged to have your picture taken with Santa

December 9th

  • The Early Chamber of Commerce annual Christmas Expo at the CARR Center located at 1031 Early Boulevard

10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Find unique locally handcrafted items that are sure to be a hit this Christmas Season! Bring the kids and visit Santa, win a door prize, enjoy some hot chocolate and Christmas music. If your business would like to participate by having a booth or donating door prizes, please call the Chamber office at 325-649-9317.

  • Brown County Museum of History, 209 N. Broadway Street

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is $5 and includes a photo with Santa. Attendees are encouraged to bring a new and unwrapped toy for the Brian Wade “Toys for Kids” toy drive.

  • The Bangs Lions Club Christmas Parade

Line-up will be at 5:30 p.m. on Gantt Street. The parade will kick off at 6 p.m. The parade will begin on Gantt, travel down Fitzgerald and end in downtown Bangs.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be a part of the fun. There is no entry fee and everyone is welcome. For questions, call Rick Phelps at 325-200-1276.

December 16th

  • Heartland Mall, 300 Early Boulevard

1 to 4 p.m. Bring your camera and take photos with Santa
