Margaret Lou (Taylor) Majors

Margaret Lou (Taylor) Majors, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed on to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, November 27, 2017.

Visitation will be held Thursday 5-7 pm at Davis-Morris Funeral Home in Brownwood with services in the chapel at the funeral home on Friday at 11am.  Burial will follow at Zephyr Cemetery.

Margaret was born March 20, 1929, in Ricker to Joseph Richard Taylor and Effie Lee (McArthur)) Taylor. Margaret was raised in Brown County where she attended Early schools. Margaret married Henry C. Majors in 1944, and they have four children. Margaret lived most of her life on the family farm located near Zephyr raising her children and maintaining a home.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and oldest son, Larry Leon Majors.

Margaret is survived by her son, Garry Majors, and two daughters, Gloria Goodman and her husband, Toby, and Marian Colorado and her husband, Donald. She is also survived by eight grandchildren Scott, JoAnna, Tonya, Koby, Genia, Brian, Lauri, Christie, and fifteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
