Freddie Marie Geer Jay passed away November 2, 2017. She was 78.  She fought a hard, long fight.  She is in heaven now with all her loved ones who went before her.  Freddie is survived by her sisters, Novella Geer and Joy Geer.  Freddie is survived by four children Kemarie Kay Grewell, Johna Faye Ischauner, Elizabeth Gay Gillit, Max Ray Herring.  She is survived by nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and two grandchildren on the way.  She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  She is loved by a very large family.  Freddie was a very unique lady.  She was a Christian,  she loved her family and was very proud of Mat Ray Herring for serving in the United States Army.

Freddie was a very talented pianist. She started playing the piano at church at the age of twelve. She wrote and composed music and some of them were published. Freddie had a very witty and ornery sense of Humor. She was fiery and sassy. She liked Bling.

Freddie was tormented by depression and anxiety most of her adult life.  Nevertheless she led a full and big life.  She was beloved and will be greatly missed.  A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM  Sunday,  November 5, 2017 at the Heartland Funeral home with pastor Brian Hall officiating.

Online condolences may be left for the family at www.heartlandfuneralhome.net
