Beverly Parks joined the BRMC Volunteer Organization in August of 2014. She currently volunteers in the Gift Shop at Brownwood Regional Medical Center and is the Timekeeper for the BRMC Volunteer Organization having assumed that responsibility in March of 2017. She previously volunteered for 8 years at Pecos County Memorial Hospital located in Fort Stockton, Texas, before moving to the Brownwood Area. Her past experience as a volunteer has been a great asset to the BRMC Gift Shop, as well as, in the Timekeeping Area. Beverly always strives to meet the needs and expectations of BRMC Staff, Patients, and Visitors in their selection of gift items found in the BRMC Gift Shop. Her administering of the Timekeeping Area has met all expectations. She has accumulated over 4150 hours of volunteer service at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

The Volunteer of the Month Award is awarded by the BRMC Volunteers each month during the year. Recipients of the Award receive recognition and lunch at the Executive Board Meeting held in the month following the month for which they are selected.

The BRMC Volunteers are always excited to meet area individuals who are interested in becoming a Volunteer and are actively soliciting new members. If you have an interest in volunteering a minimum of 6 to 8 hours per month, you will find BRMC Volunteering will meet your needs. BRMC Volunteer applications may be obtained in the BRMC Gift Shop, at the front entrance information desk, online at http://www.brmc-cares.com or by calling the BRMC Volunteer Office at 325-649-3399 or emailing the BRMC Volunteers at [email protected] and stating that you would like to become a BRMC Volunteer.
